Service - Love in Action
"Amen I say to you, whatever you did for the least of my brothers, you did for me." -Matthew 25:40
Members of a stewardship parish are ready to minister to varied needs of their own parish family as well as the needs of the wider community and Church. Just as the members of a family come together to help one of their own, a stewardship parish family serves those who are hurting or in need, doubting or seeking salvation. The parish family also comes together to celebrate, thank and return God's gifts.
Needy families need a little extra during the holidays and so do the shelves at Good Shepherd! Consider leaving a donation of non-perishable canned (or) dry goods in the baskets found in the main hallway. Donations are delivered to the thrift shop each Tuesday.
The mission of the Pastoral Council is to serve as a consultative group to the pastor, to assist him in fostering pastoral activities and in providing for the continued spiritual growth of parish life.
